We've already built and launched two of our most upvoted feature requests that have been sitting atop the leaderboards since the day we launched a beta version on ProductHunt in 2018. </p><p style="margin:0; font-size:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0; font-size:16px">There were times in the past six years, I wondered if we'd ever make it around to building an iPad app or letting you <a href="#" target="_blank" rel="noopener" style="text-decoration:underline; color:#555555">merge subtasks into tasks</a> but we finally did it. </p><p style="margin:0; font-size:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0; font-size:16px">Looking back, I'm sure we've lost out on a few customers who were disappointed in our lack of a tablet experience or because they felt we lacked the urgency to build one. We've always felt a tablet app would be a no-brainer but we made a commitment to grow our business in a way that prioritizes longevity, sustainability, and a high bar of product quality. That often meant saying no and deferring things we know are important and disappointing customers in the short term. </p><p style="margin:0; font-size:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0; font-size:16px">Now that we've found a way to stick around as a business and not end up in the trash-heap of productivity tools, we've bought ourselves the time to build and win over customers in the long term. </p><p style="margin:0; font-size:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0; font-size:16px">Impatience is endemic in the world of digital products and so as we announce this feature, I feel gratitude towards all of you that have supported us on Pro plans over the years.
